The iconic caricature used, was originally created by Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick, which was created from the original photo by Alberto Korda, entitled ‘Guerrillero Heroico’. Taken on March 5, 1960, it’s Known across the globe is one of the world’s most reprinted images. Used to symbolise and represent the underdog, idealist and the revolutionary.

My choice of this image for this particular guitar was due to this instrument having my own bracing pattern in it, as distinct from the traditional Martin ‘X‘ brace that was first introduced to the acoustic guitar back in the 1930's, which quickly became the stable for all acoustic steel string flat top guitars.

The use of my own bracing pattern to create my own sound...the start of my own revolution.
